I’m sooo excited because you are currently reading my first blog post! And what a better way to launch the blog than spending a long weekend at New York Fashion Week?
Well, it was quite an interesting, fun and pretty awesome getaway at the city. Plus, this was my second time at NYFW! It definitely couldn’t get any better!
After a long walk through Central Park and wondering around Bergdorf Goodman’s fabulous windows, we headed to Chelsea to attend “A détacher” runway show which took place at Pier 59 Studios. First show, front row. Started on the right foot. People around embraced a nice hippie-chic vibe. (thumbs up)
Simple cat eye makeup and towering braided headpieces characterized the model’s total look. The first looks that came down the runway were simple cozy knit sets in neutral colors. Absolutely loved every single outfit, so wearable and comfy.
My favorite piece turn out to be “the jogger”. All about laid back looks and wool sweaters. Mona Kowalska presented the best version of the sweater weather mindset. Getting to see the Polish-born designer knit collection up close and personal was definitely the best fashion week warm up.
I’m thrilled and super happy I can finally share my experiences in the fashion industry with you. It was something I had in mind a long time ago and finally made it!
I officially welcome you to “Letras con Tacones” homeland! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Thank you all for the support!
